Hate begets hate, as the idiom goes, so are the reactions to the disparaging hate speeches spewed by the DMK party leaders. The current Chieftain of the party probably has not had enough tutelage, that he is losing control over the party men, who are shooting loose cannons, much to the chagrin of Hindu society at large, at every given opportunity. These acts of theirs not only exposes the so-called deviants, their appeasing ideologies in public façade, while their households and personal lives speak, a different story altogether.

The strategies of Sri. Prashanth Kishor, a Bihari at that, to this party would be a sheer waste, for the money paid for his services, much before the Elections 2021 for all the snide comments made by the party men. We are all living in a generation, wherein Tamil Nadu parents are coming out of the Caste mould to just say N/A or a dash to the caste column while applying for Birth Certificates followed by school admissions.

There are two incidents reported back to back, one being On 13th May, Sri. Dayanidhi Maran, MP Central Chennai, had met the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu to give few petitions. On his way back out, he met the reporters and said, “ We were treated like third-rated people, are we depressed class? This was said with the intention to mean,  that the treatment meted to him was very similar, to the treatment of Schedule caste people. Whereas other community people will not be treated this way”. This statement of his goes to show the sheer arrogance of a person.

In giving a counter reply to this vehement statement, Sri. M. Venkatesan, BJP’s SC State Head said, “ Just by asking whether they belong to a depressed class, does that mean that the scheduled caste people are not worthy of any respect? This way of making sweeping statements would only pave way for people to talk about all communities, in the near future. This remark of the caste-arrogant person like him has hurt the feelings of the schedule caste person like me and my community people. Now, when we talk about all people being the same despite the caste, creed, community in the eyes of the law and constitution, this objectionable remark is being made disparagingly against my community people”. He also demanded that Sri. Dayanidhi Maran need to be arrested for making hate speech under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, to which effect he has lodged a police complaint.

The next person is Sri. R. S. Bharathi, for making a remark against the Schedule caste, that under the DMK party’s SC empowerment initiative, with regard to the appointment of SC candidates as High Court judges, during the period of Sri. Karunanidhi, were all alms given by the Dravidian Movement to that community people. This created an outrage in the social media with the public slamming this Rajya Sabha MP for the utterances of Alms, Harijans. Though he apologized later for his uncalled remarks as he had come under severe criticisms for his derogatory remarks against the marginalized communities. A complaint has been booked under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, on May 14th and arrested.

DMK party men making such casteist statements very often, against Hindus will not augur well with the people of Tamil Nadu. Last year we saw the furore created by Sri. M.K. Stalin’s sarcastic comments on the Hindu way of performing a marriage ceremony with the chanting of mantras. The democratic verdict of the people shall prevail over Dynastical arrogance of this Dravidian party in the forthcoming elections for their explicit social stratum utterances.
